Rescue Diver
The Rescue Diver Course is designed to develop your knowledge and necessary skills to effectively perform diver rescues and assist, and administer necessary first aid. You will learn skills such as how to perform self rescues, buddy rescues, recognize and calm potential panic divers, administer proper first aid to divers that have experienced dive related injuries, conduct effective search patterns and manage accident scenes. After the Rescue Diver Course you can enroll in the Master Scuba Diver Development Program or start in the professional ranks and sign up for your Divemaster Course. Expand the scope of your diving, start thinking beyond you and your buddy!
Course Prerequisites
Although requirements vary by agency, in order to become a rescue diver you must be an advanced diver or have a minimum of 40 dives as well as current First Aid, CPR and Oxygen Providers Course

- Computer Nitrox Diver - learn the benefits of mixed gas diving and the proper procedures to using nitrox. Safely increase the duration of your dives!
- Advanced Buoyancy Control - learn the Zen art of hovering and keep off the bottom! Finally get your lead weighting right.
- Ice Diver - ever wondered what it is like to be under a frozen pond? Come find out how to do it safely!
Drysuit Diver - expand your diving to cold water all year round by learning how to dive in a drysuit. Stay toasty and warm!
